Roku Gin x Vogue
Roku Gin highlights the strong cultural bridge between Japan and Germany. Japanese born artists, living and working in Germany become cultural ambassadors. Their stories convey Japanese culture and key aspects of the Shun idea - the main principle for the craftsmanship behind Roku Gin. The campaigns were spread across various advertorials in VOGUE - the perfect audience fit for a premium brand.
THE CONCEPT
The features place the Japanese Shun principle at the center: the art of harvesting and processing ingredients at their peak ripeness. This concept is also deeply embedded in the philosophy of the premium spirit Roku Gin.
The extensive stories introduce representatives of the Shun principle: Japanese Ikebana artist and teacher Akiko Kaneko, as well as Germanys only Japanese Michelin starred chef Yoshizumi Nagaya from Düsseldorf. Another brand ambassador is Jimu Kobayashi, a designer and artist for contemporary ceramics rooted in Japanese and European traditions. The Selection of brand ambassadors is completed by Miya Shinma, an independent parfumeur from Paris.
Their stories convey Japanese culture and key aspects of the Shun idea, bringing Roku Gin's claim—"The Best of Every Season"—to life. VOGUE was chosen as a partner that perfectly aligns with the brand's premium positioning.
